The Drivers

Bhaskar is Founder and Managing Partner at Unicorn India Ventures(www.unicornivc.com) and is a seasoned media & technology executive and entrepreneur. In the past decade, Bhaskar has established himself as a well-regarded early stage investor in UK and India. He has held senior corporate positions with Times of India, Zee Telefilms and Altavista UK.

In 2000, he started his first entrepreneurial venture, Recreate Solutions, a company within the digital media realm and backed by Insight Partners. After scaling the business, he sold the business to a US Systems Integrator. He has since been an investor in a number of technology and media early stage business through his propriety fund, Heath Ventures, and has invested more than half a dozen start-ups in UK and India across media and technology. He has exited businesses as an entrepreneur and as an investor and brings a strong sense of positioning businesses for exit.

An Alumni of IIT Kharagpur and an AMP from Harvard, Bhaskar is very active in the angel community network in UK and in India. He is very involved in cross border businesses and plays an active role in the India-UK corridor.

At Di5, Bhaskar drives all new strategic initiatives of adding service lines, funding the organic growth and acquisitions.

Bala is the Founder of the business. He spotted a gap in the market for providing quality marketing services for brands looking at the multicultural markets. Prior to starting this venture, he was Business Head and VP-International for B4U Network Europe Ltd. He has 20 years of experience in Television Industry of which 12 years are in Europe. He has been a speaker and panel member in various seminars and forums dedicated to diaspora& multicultural marketing. He is an advisor to Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan and other Indo-European initiatives. He started his career with Zee Network, India and was Head of Sales & Brand Manager for Zee UK.

Abhijit is a member of the founding team of Di5. Prior to joining this venture he was the Head of Sales for Zee Network , Europe. He has more than 20 years of experience in Television & Print industry. He had worked for Indian Express Newspapers , ABP, Zee Network ,Times Now in various capacities. He had done his MBA from IISWBM- Kolkata .
